Product Description

These stools feature removable letters that only fit into the stool one way, so they will teach children to properly spell their name, and learn some basic colors. These stools are great for potty training, brushing of teeth, hand washing, sitting or playing on, and getting into adult size beds. They are also great "TIME OUT" stools.

They come in light- or dark-stained wood and feature primary or pastel colored letters. ONE NAME ONLY, ONE CAPITAL LETTER ONLY (NO SPACES) up to 11 letters. They are solidly constructed of Poplar (hardwood) so that an adult can stand on the stool and not break it! The stools have a hand-rubbed oil finish stain, in either dark walnut or natural (light) finish, with hand-painted removable letters. We use only child-safe lead-free paints and stains.

    Received the package in perfect condition. Quality is outstanding! My grandson (20 months) loves it. It is a toy and functional when he needs to stand at the sink to brush his teeth. I will be ordering another for my newborn granddaughter so she has it when she is ready.

    These stools are great! I have bought one for each of my grandchildren. They have learned how to spell their names as well as colors, etc. with these stools. Being used right now for them to stand on at the bathroom sink to brush their teeth! So many uses!

    This is the 3rd puzzle stool that I have purchased, one for each of my grands. The kids love them and I love the fact that this is something that is educational and will become a family heirloom.

    I started giving these beautiful well-constructed puzzle stools to my niece and nephews as a first birthday gift back in the 1980’s. They are now grown and starting families of their own. Imagine my delight when I discovered Quality Wood Crafts was still in business making the same high quality stools! The 7 “original” stools are still in use at grandparents homes and I’ve just sent the 7th stiool to the next generation -each has arrived as a much- anticipated gift! These are heirlooms that will be enjoyed for generations!

    I got my stool when I was 2 years old and still have it 30 years later. My son loves mine and asked when he could have one with his name on it. I had seen others similar but they didn’t look as nice. One day I figured I would try to see if the company was still around. It was and I ordered 2 for kids. They came rather quickly and look exactly like mine from when I was little. Mine is still in great condition and looks almost brand new. I would highly recommend this product...you will not be disappointed.
